EuroCup Group D Roundup: Unicaja and Trento grab road wins

Dolomiti Energia Trento dominated the fourth quarter (21-9) and won 77-68 on the road against Buducnost VOLI in DAYS EuroCup Round 2.

James Blackmon scored 19 points for the winning side while George King and Rashard Kelly added 15 each.

For Buducnost, Justin Cobbs banked 19 points along with eight assists, five rebounds and three steals for a total PIR of 32. Danilo Nikolic helped with 13 points.

Meanwhile, Unicaja Malaga – led by Deon Thomspon – grabbed a 66-59 road win over Asseco Arka Gdynia.

Thomspon was the only double-digit scorer for the victors with 21 points while Adam Waczynski scored eight and Haime Fernandez seven points.

On the other side, Phillip Greene scored 18 in addition to Devonte Upson’s 11 points.

Earlier, Zach Auguste put on another strong performance for Galatasaray Doga Sigorta which prevailed 92-79 over EWE Baskets Oldenburg.

Auguste logged 18 points, six rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks for a total of 27 PIR. Aaron Harrison followed with 17 points and eight rebounds in addition to Ben Moore’s 13 points.

For Oldenburg, Rickey Paulding scored 17 while Gerry Blakes and Rasid Mahalbasic helped with 13 points each.
