Promitheas made the addition of Gerald Robinson official on Monday morning. Eurohoops previously reported on the deal between the two sides.

The Tennessee State and Georgia alum has been a free agent since his two-year stint with AS Monaco ended last summer. He now returns to 7DAYS EuroCup after his ten appearances with the French team and his previous 19 games between VEF Riga and JSF Nanterre.

Robinson will play in Greece’s Basket League for the first time. His previous European experiences include France, Germany, Latvia and Belgium.

With 9.3 points, 1.9 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 1 steal per game in last year’s edition of EuroCup, he is set to provide a boost for Makis Giatras’ team. He also averaged 11.3 points, 4.7 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists per Jeep Elite Pro A appearance.

The Europe regular will replace Robert Lowery at Promitheas. The Greek team parted ways with the 31-year-old American guard who will further his career in the VTB United League with Tsmoki Minsk.
