Panathinaikos guard Nick Calathes climbed to the second place in EuroLeague’s all-time assists leaders list during the game of his team against CSKA Moscow Thursday (5/3).
Calathes entered the match with 1.253 career assists in EuroLeague and needed three more to pass former teammate Dimitris Diamantidis, who retired with 1.255 assists in 2016. It took Calathes just five minutes to register his third dime by sending the ball to Jimmer Fredette for a 3-pointer.
