Juancho Hernangomez has suffered an injury and will miss approximately the next ten days, Panathinaikos coach Zeljko Obradovic confirmed.
“Juancho Hernangómez will be out. I don’t know exactly, maybe ten days,” said the Serbian coach.
The Spaniard sustained the injury during Saturday’s game, in which Panathinaikos were defeated by PAOK in the Super Cup semifinal by a last-second three-pointer from Cedi Osman. After the game, the medical team’s diagnosis was spasms in the right adductor.
Hernangomez will miss this week’s EuroLeague double-header, with Panathinaikos hosting ASVEL in Athens on Tuesday and Maccabi on Friday.
Juancho will also be unavailable to Obradovic for the game against Vikos Falcons in the domestic league, while it remains uncertain whether he will recover in time for the match against Fenerbahce, which Panathinaikos will play in Athens on October 8.
