Malcolm Delaney has a contract for next season with FC Barcelona. However, he may end up continuing his career elsewhere in Europe. Delaney’s contract with Barcelona has an opt-out clause that can be used until the 22nd of June, making him a free agent. And there’s already a market for him.

According to Eurohoops sources, both AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan and Olympiacos have expressed their interest to the side of the player. They want to add him to their roster if he leaves Barcelona.

There’s also a second opt-out in Delaney’s contract in mid-July for a possible NBA offer, but at this point remains unknown when the NBA free agency period will start this year.

If Delaney uses his opt-out in June, then even more EuroLeague teams are expected to express interest, since he will be considered among the top free agents in Europe.

In 26 EuroLeague games during this season, Delaney averaged 10.2 ppg, while shooting 43% in threes and he also dished 4.8 apg.
