The 2019 Basketball Champions League Final Four MVP in Kevin Punter penned a one-year deal with Olimpia Milano, the club announced.

“I’m ecstatic, I can’t wait to come to Milan and start working to try to do something special in my return to Italy,” Punter said.

The 26-year-old American guard started this past season with Olympiacos but after 11 games moved to Crvena Zvezda. He averaged 15.9 points for the latter over 12 EuroLeague games.

Punter won BCL for two straight seasons (2018-19) with AEK and Virtus Bologna respectively. He started his professional career in Lavrio while he also played for Antwerp Giants and Rosa Random.

Milano has been very active in the transfer market and are shaping the roster rather fast. The Italians decided to part ways with Luis Scola, Amedeo Della Valle, Christian Burns, Nemanja Nedovic while keeping Jeff Brooks, Kaleb Tarczewsky and adding Malcolm Delaney, Kyle Hines.
