CSKA Moscow announced that guard Darrun Hilliard re-signed with the team for the 2020-2021 season.

Per CSKA:

Guard Darrun Hilliard’s next contract is valid until the summer of 2021.

The American player just finished his second season in European basketball but he already displays great potential. He also finished 7th in EuroLeague in three-pointers made (56). The guard was CSKA second-leading scorer (after James) averaging 11.1 points, including 10.6 in EuroLeague games.

Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:

The club’s coaching staff and management has a high value for Darrun’s effort, we see big space for development and player’s willingness to become a top player. We are happy that we will continue our collaboration.

Darrun Hilliard, CSKA guard:

I am very fortunate and blessed to continue playing for CSKA. I feel really good about our team. We have a great understanding of the coaching staff and understanding how great of a opportunity we all have! Thank you to all of our fans and supporters!
