The best scorer of this past season in Spain, Klemen Prepelic, has signed a deal with Valencia Basket. It’s a two-year contract with an option for another season.

Prepelic spent the 2019-20 season on loan from Madrid to Joventut Badalona, with which he posted 17 points and 3.9 assists in 25:50 across 15 7DAYS EuroCup games.

The Slovenian sharpshooter started his career in native Slovenia playing for Maribor, Domzale and Olimpija before moving to Turkey for Banvit. He also played in Germany for Oldenburg as well as in France for Limoges and Levallois before finally reaching Real Madrid.

He had one of the key roles in Slovenia’s squad for the 2017 EuroBasket in Turkey when they won the first-ever gold medal in the national team’s history.
