Vassilis Spanoulis continues his run with Olympiacos for another season, his 11th straight with the team, the club announced Saturday, July 11, and the exact 10-year anniversary of the player’s arrival at the “Reds”.

The 37-year-old guard averaged 11.3 points, 4.6 assists and 1.2 rebounds in 24 minutes over 22 EuroLeague games this past season.

A three-time (2009 with Panathinaikos, 2012, 2013 with Olympiacos) EuroLeague champion and Final Four MVP, plus season MVP in 2013, Spanoulis was named to the competition’s 2010-20 All-Decade Team this year. He has won seven Greek League titles (three with Olympiacos) as well as four Greek Cups, not to mention an amazing amount of individual honors during a career that now spans over two decades.

Spanoulis joined Olympiacos back in 2010 and has stayed there ever since. Before that, he had two shorts stints with Panathinaikos while he also played in the NBA with the Houston Rockets.
