Besiktas forward DaQuan Jeffries fractured a bone in his left wrist during Friday’s EuroLeague opener against Valencia Basket, the club announced.
Jeffries sustained the injury in the first quarter and wanted to continue playing. He finished with no points in 5:27 on the court, while Besiktas lost 96–94.
The fracture was discovered in postgame examinations. Besiktas said its medical staff had begun treatment and would monitor his recovery, but gave no timetable for his return.
