With Facundo Campazzo being set on leaving for the NBA, Real Madrid will have to find a way to consolidate the roster if the move indeed happens.

A player that might be the most impacted by the development of Campazzo’s situation is Nicolas Laprovittola. The Argentinian has already reached a verbal agreement with Panathinaikos but that stands only in case Campazzo stays in Madrid.

On the contrary, if his fellow countryman strikes a deal in the NBA then, according to Carlos Sanchez Blas, the Spanish team has no intention of letting Laprovittola go.

They would keep Laprovittola who would be a piece of Real Madrid’s backcourt together with Serio Llull and Carlos Alocen. Alocen, who together with the forward Alberto Abalde, is a part of the process to rejuvenate the roster filled with experienced veterans.

The Spaniards would prefer to avoid going to the transfer market due to the financial crisis caused by the pandemic while at the same time, not being sure about the upcoming 2020-21 EuroLeague campaign.
