Anadolu Efes penned Erten Gazi to a one-year contract with an option for an additional season, the Turkish powerhouse announced on Thursday.

The 23-year-old combo guard joined Efes as a teenager and played for the junior team before heading to the USA for a four-year NCAA run split between DePaul and Fordham. Last season, he averaged 8.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per appearance for the Rams.

Gazi, also a former member of the junior Turkish national teams, became for the first newcomer for Ergin Ataman’s side. The offseason so far focused on re-signing players the likes of Rodrigue Beaubois, Bryant Dunston, Tibor Pleiss, Sertac Sanli, Krunoslav Simon, Chris Singleton, and Bugrahan Tuncer.
