Georgios Printezis is on to the 10th year of his second stint with Olympiacos Piraeus and still among the pillars of the team. The 36-year-old Greek forward wants to keep giving to the Reds and set his priorities for next season, following Olympiacos’ victory against Zenit on Friday.

“The team is always in priority, even when I was in my “prime”, my priority was the team and once again my priority remains what the coach and the presidents will decide. Of course, I want to play for one more year, I have identified with the role the coach has given me and I try to do the best I can”, said Printezis in a post-game interview.

Printezis has been synonymous with the Reds, having spent most of his career in Piraeus, after first joining the team in 2001. He left the club for two years between 2007 and 2009 for Unicaja Malaga and returned to win two EuroLeague titles with the Reds in 2012 and 2013.

In the current season, Printezis posts an average of 8.2 points, 2.4 rebounds in 17:49 minutes across 26 games in which he’s had 12 starts.
