Real Madrid officially lands Guerschon Yabusele

Real Madrid signed Guerschon Yabusele for the 2021-22 season, the team announced Monday. Eurohoops had reported on the done deal between the two sides.

Yabusele, 25, played for LDLC ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne since early 2020. He had joined the French team prior to the suspension of the 2019-20 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Whites will become his second team in Europe’s premier club competition. The incoming big registered 10.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.6 blocks per appearance over his first two seasons.

The team led by Pablo Laso recently opened its summer transfers with another French star, point guard Thomas Heurtel.
