With Filip Petrusev staying one more season in Europe, as the Sixers had already confirmed, the young Serb big man is ready to sign with Anadolu Efes, as multiple sources report, including Mozzartsport and Sportando.

Petrusev is expected to sign a deal that will permit him to join the NBA in the future, however, he is also the missing piece in the center position for Efes, which was also considering Tarik Black after losing Jock Landale.

The Australian big man was on the verge of returning to Europe, signing a pre-contract with Efes, which also included an NBA out. Efes’ plan fell apart when the Spurs decided to give Landale a contract.

Petrusev is expected to be a key part of Efes’ rotation, taking the spot of Sertac Sanli who left the EuroLeague champions for Barcelona. He was one of the options for the job who were examined since the start of the summer.
