FC Barcelona announced Tuesday that Kyle Kuric tested positive for COVID-19. Kuric had mild symptoms and remains isolated, as the team informs.
Per Barcelona’s announcement:
“We inform you that Kyle Kuric tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, December 26, in an antigen test. The player underwent a PCR test on Monday the 27th which confirmed the first result. Kuric, with mild symptoms, is isolated at home”
The Slovakian American forward is the third recent confirmed COVID-19 case in Barcelona, after the infections of Nigel Hayes-Davis and captain Pierre Oriola.
Barcelona faces Baskonia on the road this upcoming Thursday in Round 18 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
