Club revenues by EuroLeague distribution increased 20 percent

EuroLeague Basketball clubs will see approximately a 20 percent increase in the revenues they will receive from the organization in the 2022-23 season.

Like in 2021-22 when a significant increase took place, market pool distribution covers 79 percent of the total sum of club revenues.

The other 21 percent includes bonuses that are determined by sporting achievements and how high the clubs will be ranked when the season, including the Final Four, is over.

Israel Hayom published the new bonuses the EuroLeague will pay clubs based on their final ranking on top of the money that they will receive via the market pool. The list of the bonuses is as follows (including a comparison with the 2021-22 numbers):

1st place – €1,759,398 euros (2021-22: 1.500.00)

2nd place – €996,992 euros (850.000)

3rd place – €879,699 (750.000)

4th place – €762,406 (650.000)

5th place – €703,759 (600.000)

6th place – €645,112 (550.000)

7th place – €586,466 (500.000)

8th place – €527,819 (450.000)

9th place – €469,173 (400.000)

10th place – €410,526 (350.000)

11th place – €351,880 (300.000)

12th place – €293,233 (250.000)

13th place – €234,586 (200.000)

14th place – €175,940 (150.000)
