After suffering a crazy nose injury against Real Madrid and undergoing nasal bone surgery to resolve his displacement, Jordan Loyd could come back against Milan in the EuroLeague clash scheduled for tomorrow at 20:30 CET.

In that game against the Spanish champions, the former Zenit Saint Petersburg player had scored 19 points before receiving an accidental elbow hit by Guerschon Yabusele, which caused his nose to bleed.

In the post-game press conference, Sasa Obradovic confirmed that Jordan Loyd suffered a broken nose.

AS Monaco’s statement published on the following day said that “Our guard suffers from a craniofacial trauma and a broken nose with displacement. There is no brain damage but Jordan will have to have nasal bone surgery today in Monaco”.

Now, as it can be read on the Monegasque club’s website, “Jordan Loyd has just resumed collective training with an adapted protective mask. It is with happiness that Jordan was able to find his teammates with the ball in hand and the whole club is delighted with this comeback. He is therefore very close to a return to competition. For this duel in Milan, a decision will be made during the day based on the latest training and Jordan’s feelings”.

The American shooting guard is averaging 12.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.3 steals per game in 12 EuroLeague appearances this season.
