In Game 4 of the best-of-five EuroLeague Playoffs series between Real Madrid and Partizan Belgrade, the Spanish side managed to take home the on-the-road 85-78 victory, forcing Game 5 and extending the series until May 10.

While Partizan will see Kevin Punter back on the court following his two-game disqualification, Real Madrid won’t probably have Gabriel Deck. After dropping 14 points in 32:55 minutes, being one of the most efficient Real Madrid players on offense, in fact, he had to leave the court.

With 3:01 minutes left in the fourth quarter, the Argentinian small forward suffered a knee injury following a hard but unintentional contact with Zach LeDay fighting for the possession. Real Madrid’s number 14 seemed visibly in pain, but Chus Mateo calmed down over his condition. “I don’t know what will happen, but it seems like it’s not a long-term injury”, he said in the post-game press conference.

However, as stated by Real Madrid in an official press release, “Gabriel Deck has been diagnosed with a rupture of the internal collateral ligament of his left knee”. The Argentinian small forward, therefore, won’t play until the end of the season

In the series against Partizan, Gabriel Deck has been averaging 15.3 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, shooting 72.7% from two and 78.6% at the line, with 33.3% from beyond the arc. The former Oklahoma City Thunder player missed Game 3 following the brawl in Game 2.
