Real Madrid announced the departure of Hungarian forward, Adam Hanga, after a two-year stint with the club. The news was initially reported by Marca, and now Madrid has made an official announcement.

Real Madrid CF announces that our basketball player Adam Hanga has ended his relationship with the club.

Real Madrid wants to express its gratitude and affection for him during the two seasons he has represented our team, during which he won 1 European Cup, 1 League title, and 2 Spanish Super Cups.

Real Madrid wishes him and his family all the best in this new chapter,” the press release stated.

Hanga, an experienced forward, enjoyed a successful tenure with Los Blancos, securing four titles, including the EuroLeague championship in May, one ACB championship in 2022, and two Super Cups in 2021 and 2022.

During the previous season, he averaged five points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.1 steals, with an average Performance Index Rating (PIR) of 4.5 in the Endesa League. In the EuroLeague, his stats stood at 4.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and a PIR of 4.1 per game.

Hanga is expected to continue his career in the EuroLeague, with Bayern Munich expressing interest in acquiring his services. However, contrary to reports suggesting Olympiacos’ interest, Eurohoops sources indicate that this is not the case.
