Panathinaikos announced the addition of Luca Vildoza

Luca Vildoza is officially the first big-name addition of Panathinaikos signing a three-year deal with the team, as the Greek club announced, following previous reports.

Per the press release: Luca Vildosa was born on August 11, 1995 in Quilmes, Argentina, you are 1.91m tall. and competes in the guard positions. He started his career on the team of his hometown competing in it from 2012 to 2016.

In 2016, he signed a four-year contract with the Spanish club Baskonia, however, he remained in Quilmes for a year on loan, averaging 16.9 points and 3.9 assists per game. In the summer of 2017, he joined Baskonia’s roster, competing with them in the Euroleague and also in the ACB championship.

The next season his role and numbers with the Basques went up as he averaged 9.1 points and 3.8 assists in 34 Euroleague games.

Luca Vildosa was crowned champion of Spain with Baskonia in 2020 while his next season was even better in terms of numbers. Specifically, he averaged 10.1 points, 3.4 assists, and 2 rebounds in the Euroleague.

In May 2021, he signed with the New York Knicks, but a leg injury prevented him from playing with them, while in April 2022, he joined the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Argentinian guard returned to Europe in October 2022 on behalf of Crvena Zvezda mts with whom he won the Championship and also the Serbian Cup. In the Euroleague, he played in 29 matches averaging 12.6 points, 3.9 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.4 steals.

Luca Vildosa has had a rich career with the Argentine National Team with his biggest success being winning the silver medal at the 2019 World Cup.
