Panathinaikos Athens has 2023 EuroCup MVP Jerian Grant on its transfer list according to Eurohoops sources. He’s a player that Panathinaikos coach Ergin Ataman would want to have in the upcoming season since he believes that the American guard fits his game plan.

Grant is projected as a guard who can provide Panathinaikos with quality minutes and solutions off the bench.  The Greens were previously interested in Grant during the 2021 offseason and after his standout run with Promitheas Patras but the player signed with Olimpia Milano.

In 2022-23, the 30-year-old Grant averaged 14.9 points and 6.0 assists in EuroCup with Turk Telekom as the team went all the way to the championship game (vs. Gran Canaria) for the first time in club history. He was named MVP and made the All-First Team.

In Turkey, Grant had 16.3 points and 5.7 assists as Turk Telekom ended 1st in the Regular Season.

Grant is the older brother of Portland Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant.
