Frank Kaminsky out for Partizan’s clash against Monaco

Partizan Mozzart Bet will host AS Monaco in Round 12 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague but without the help of Frank Kaminsky.

The former NBA player suffered a blow in the match against Panathinaikos and missed the ABA League clash with FMP Soccerbet on the weekend due to a rib injury. However, he wasn’t able to recover in time to participate against the French champions.

Zeljko Obradovic also won’t have Uros Trifunovic at his disposal for the upcoming EuroLeague clash, as the Serbian forward suffered a muscular tear in the Round 9 victory over ALBA Berlin.

Danilo Andjusic and PJ Dozier also missed the previous ABA League clash, with Zach LeDay playing in under two minutes. Still, they will be available for the upcoming match against Monaco in Stark Arena.

We had a lot of issues before the game against FMP. Definitely, Trifunović and Kaminsky won’t be on the team; the others are recovering better and will probably be ready. I hope for a positive reaction from the players after the previous victories, but maintaining form and being at the required level is the most challenging. We will try… I gave the team a day off yesterday, after everything and especially considering what awaits us. We played a game in Železnik without five players, and it was necessary for them to rest, both mentally and physically. I hope all of that will have a positive impact,” Obradovic said.

Kaminsky’s absence will be a blow for Partizan, as the US center had a solid start to the season in the EuroLeague, averaging 9.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. In the ABA League, he’s been posting 13.1 points and 4.4 rebounds.
