Bryant Dunston has inked a one-year contract with Olympiacos, formally returning to the Reds after 11 years.
The deal was announced on Monday, shortly after another reunion for the Greek powerhouse with George Pappas.
He is finally back. After previously participating in training camp, the Queens native completed his return to the Piraeus port, where he previously dominated the paint between 2013 and 2015. Born in May 1986, the 2.03-meter American center brings deep elite experience back to Greece. His career spans decades across various leagues, featuring runs with several clubs, including an eight-year stint and two Turkish Airlines EuroLeague championships with Anadolu Efes.
Besides the back-to-back EuroLeague championships in 2021 and 2022, the true continental heavyweight also captured an Intercontinental Cup in 2013 with Olympiacos, and domestic titles in Greece, Turkiye, Lithuania, and Italy. Individually, he is a two-time EuroLeague Best Defender. During the 2025-26 season with EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, he averaged 2.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, 0.7 blocks, 0.4 steals, and 0.2 assists per contest. Logging 17 EuroLeague appearances, he upped his career total to 381.
Dunston, alongside Pappas, joined a multi-layered rotation under head coach Giorgos Bartzokas. The squad features an elite mix of established stars, versatile veterans, and promising prospects, including Giorgos Bourneles, Tyler Dorsey, Bryant Dunston, Evan Fournier, Donta Hall, Tyrique Jones, Cory Joseph, Antonis Karagiannidis, Codi Miller-McIntyre, Nikola Milutinov, Jean Montero, Mbaye Ndiaye, Omiros Netzipoglou, Kostas Papanikolaou, Nikos Pappas, Nikos Plotas, Sasha Vezenkov, and Tyson Ward.
Looking to sustain their form, the reigning EuroLeague champions opened the 2026–27 Regular Season with a victory. On Sunday, they added another Greek Stoiximan Super Cup to their trophy cabinet.
