Isaiah Canaan emerges as our top Fantasy option

Heading to Round 28 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season and examining the situation at Olympiacos ahead of the home game opposite Virtus Segafredo Bologna, we can’t overlook Isaiah Canaan.

Making adjustments to our EuroLeague Fantasy squad, his addition is a no-brainer with numerous of his teammates forced to the injury list of head coach Giorgos Bartzokas.

With Giannoulis Larentzakis, Nigel Williams-Goss, and Naz Mitrou-Long missing last week, we relied on Thomas Walkup. His display provided a large chunk of Fantasy points.

With Walkup also out, the 32-year-old American guard is an obvious choice. Fully healthy and coming off a 13-point showing to go with six steals versus Peristeri bwin in Greece’s Stoiximan Basket League.

Tabbed at 9.0 units, Canaan is a good fit, considering budget limitations.

McKissic and Lountzis

An alternative plan brings up Shaquielle McKissic. Playing at the shooting guard position against Zalgiris in Round 27, he put in 20 points and a performance index rating of 26. Labeled as a forward in Fantasy is not a problem. He costs 6.7 units.

In a bonus tip regarding the Reds, Michalis Lountzis is likely to receive an increased role, making him another potential Fantasy option. At 4.0 units, his addition can create space to acquire superstars the likes of Facundo Campazzo, Mike James, Wade Baldwin IV, or Shane Larkin.
