Panathinaikos recorded a victory in the 12th round of the EuroLeague, defeating Dubai at home with a score of 103-82.
The home team played without Richaun Holmes, Mathias Lessort, Omer Yurtseven, and Vassilis Toliopoulos, but that didn’t stop them from celebrating.
Kendrick Nunn scored 22 points, Kostas Sloukas added 15, while Jerian Grant finished the game with 15 points also. It should also be noted that Cedi Osman left the game early due to a twisted ankle and will undergo scans
On the other side, Dubai played without Dwayne Bacon, who was announced before the game to have broken his right thumb, and Dzanan Musa, which was felt in the end — Mfiondu Kabengele scored 18 points and was the most efficient, while Boogie Ellis finished with 15.
We saw a very close first half, and Jurica Golemac’s team even had a three-point lead after 20 minutes (48-45).
However, Panathinaikos did not allow the visitors to record their third consecutive elite win.
The Greeks put together a big run at the end of the third quarter, extended it into the start of the fourth, and when they went up by 20, there was no coming back for Dubai.
Panathinaikos now has a record of 8-4 and will host Partizan in the next game. On the other hand, Dubai has five wins and seven losses and will face Paris at home in their next match.
