Real got the win against Maccabi (98-86) with ease despite playing behind closed doors, due to security reasons.
Mario Hezonja (16 p.) and Facu Campazzo (15 p.) had a brilliant night and were Madrid’s top scorers.
Gabriele Procida and David Kramer did not play for the local team, but Madrid improved its record to 13-8, while it’s the exact opposite for Maccabi (8-13).
John DiBartolomeo (14 p.) and TJ Leaf (13 p.) were the top scorers for the guests, who were missing Lonnie Walker ad that proved to be more than crucial.
With no fans in the stands, Maccabi had a great first quarter (21-25). Andrés Feliz led Scariolo’s team’s reaction to tie it up before the break (48-47).
Campazzo and Hezonja pushed Madrid in the third quarter (76-65), and the Spanish squad grabbed the easy win at home (98-86), with Maccabi not being able to turn things around in the second half.
