Matthias Lessort returned, and it seems the Greens can’t lose with him back in the lineup.
Panathinaikos defeated Dubai on the road in Sarajevo 107–104, securing their third straight EuroLeague win since the French center’s return.
It was an important victory for Ergin Ataman’s team, which improved to 19–14 and created some separation from Dubai, who dropped to 17–15.
It was Kendrick Nunn who took over in the closing moments, scoring seven key points in the final two minutes to give his team breathing room. Nigel Hayes-Davis then knocked down a three-pointer with 35 seconds remaining to make it 105–98, which proved enough to seal the win.
Nunn finished the game with 21 points and five assists, while Cedi Osman led the way with 23 points and Hayes-Davis added 22. Jerian Grant and Lessort chipped in 10 points apiece, as Panathinaikos remains unbeaten since the French center’s return.
On the other side, Dzanan Musa erupted with 31 points, but it wasn’t enough. Dwayne Bacon followed with 23, while Mfiondu Kabengele added 16 points.
