A high-scoring battle unfolded at Aleksandar Nikolić Hall!
Maccabi Tel Aviv outlasted Dubai 104–100 in overtime in Round 34 of the EuroLeague.
Neither side managed to pull away over 40 minutes, as the game remained tight throughout regulation before heading into overtime. In the extra period, Maccabi showed more composure and execution, doing enough to secure a valuable win.
With this result, Oded Kattash’s team moves to 17 wins, drawing level with Dubai and Olimpia Milano in the standings while also holding a game in hand, which could prove crucial in the race for play-in positioning, although the teams currently in the Top 10 still have at least 19 victories.
Maccabi was led by Jimmy Clark, who recorded a double-double with 23 points and 10 assists. Oshae Brissett added 19 points and nine rebounds, while Jaylen Hoard contributed 15 points and eight boards. Roman Sorkin chipped in with 14 points and six rebounds, and Zach Hankins added 10, helping offset a quiet night from Lonnie Walker, who scored just one point in 21 minutes.
On the other side, Mfiondu Kabengele posted a dominant double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds, while McKinley Wright led all scorers with 26 points and added six assists. Dwayne Bacon contributed 16 points, and Filip Petrušev finished with 11 points and six rebounds, but it wasn’t enough for Dubai to come away with the win. Aleksa Avramović was not in the lineup.
