Despite Tyler Ennis’ injury, Hapoel Tel Aviv decided not to terminate his contract and to keep him for the 2026/27 season.
This was confirmed on social media by Misko Raznatovic.
“Classy move by Hapoel Tel Aviv! Despite the injury he sustained during the season, the club waived its option to terminate the contract and guaranteed Tyler Ennis a deal for the 2026/27 season.”
Ennis suffered an injury during the season and didn’t play much in Hapoel’s jersey, but despite that, he will be part of Dimitris Itoudis’ team next season. This season, Hapoel currently holds a 23-14 record and will fight for home-court advantage in the playoffs during the last EuroLeague round.
As for Ennis, he played for many years in the NBA, followed by stints with Fenerbahce, Turk Telekom, Tofas, Napoli, Hapoel Tel Aviv, Venezia, and then again Hapoel.
