Although his NBA stint did not fully meet expectations, Veselý reinvented himself upon returning to Europe. He became a dominant force in the EuroLeague with Fenerbahçe Beko under legendary coach Željko Obradović, playing a crucial role in one of the most successful periods in the club’s history. His achievements included winning the 2017 EuroLeague title and earning multiple All-EuroLeague selections, including the 2018-19 Euroleague MVP.

In the final stage of his career, Vesely continued to perform at an elite level with Barça, contributing leadership and experience to one of the most ambitious basketball projects in Europe. Despite injuries suffered in recent seasons, he remained an influential figure both on and off the court, with the ongoing Liga Endesa as the final challenge in his illustrious career: “We still have two months to fight in the Liga ACB, and my focus will remain on it until the very last game.”
