Finnish national team member Elias Valtonen is added to Valencia’s roster; however, as the club clarified, his deal is not yet guaranteed until the end of the season.
Per the press release: Valencia Basket has reached an agreement with Finnish forward Elias Valtonen (2.01, 27) to join our Club on a non-guaranteed contract which, if confirmed, would run until the end of the 2026-27 season.
The player arrives as a free agent after completing his spell with Covirán Granada, where he averaged 9.8 points, shooting 37.1% from three-point range, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists last season.
Including his previous stint with Baxi Manresa and his last three seasons with the Andalusian side, Valtonen has accumulated 118 Liga Endesa appearances over five seasons.
