Armoni Brooks confirmed what had been speculated in recent weeks, that he will continue his career with ASVEL.
He revealed this on media day in Milan, following the conclusion of a successful season.
“We know Lyon is the next step, but Milan was a huge step in my career.”
Brooks is coming off an impressive EuroLeague season with Milan, where he posted averages of 13.1 points, shooting 51.4% on two-pointers and 41.6% on three-pointers. He also contributed 3.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and achieved a Performance Index Rating (PIR) of 10.5.
Olimpia Milano claimed the Italian championship on Thursday by defeating Venezia in Game 4. They concluded the season with both the title and the Italian Cup.
ASVEL is preparing a great team, with announcements expected soon regarding the signings of Sylvain Francisco. Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot is also close to moving to France, and ASVEL is aiming to bring in Guerschon Yabusele, while Nick Weiler-Babb has already joined.
