Anadolu Efes continues to build its roster for next season. Hours after announcing the departure of Rolands Smits, the Turkish team announced the departure of Nick Weiler-Babb, one of the best defenders in the EuroLeague.
The club has confirmed the player’s departure on its social media channels.
As reported by Eurohoops, Weiler-Babb will play for ASVEL next season. The German guard will bolster the new French project, which is close to signing players of the caliber of Sylvain Francisco.
After a single season with Anadolu Efes, Weiler-Babb averaged 7.7 points, 4.8 assists, and 1.2 steals in 37 games played in the 2025-26 EuroLeague.
Weiler-Babb, 30, is one of the most sought-after defenders in European basketball, and will be a key piece in an ASVEL team that promises to make things difficult next season.
