Besiktas is close to signing a new two-year contract with Alimpijević

Beşiktaş are set to return to the EuroLeague next season after a 13-year absence, and another major development is on the horizon for the Black Eagles.

According to information obtained by Eurohoops sources, Beşiktaş are very close to reaching an agreement with head coach Dusan Alimpijević on a new two-year contract. Once the deal is officially signed, the Serbian coach will remain with the club for at least two more seasons.

Alimpijević’s current contract with Beşiktaş was due to expire in the summer of 2027.

Since taking charge of Beşiktaş in the summer of 2023, Dusan Alimpijević has led the Black Eagles to six finals in three seasons. During that span, Beşiktaş reached the Turkish Basketball Super League Finals twice, the EuroCup Final once, the Turkish Cup Final twice, and the Presidential Cup Final once.
