Several EuroLeague clubs altered their lineups with a series of player announcements on Tuesday, locking in key veterans and rising stars.
Dubai secured a major piece of its core by finalizing a lucrative two-year contract extension with small forward Dwayne Bacon, keeping the 30-year-old leader at the club through the 2027–28 season. The 2.04-meter Florida State alumnus is coming off a sensational year after carrying his squad to its first-ever AdmiralBet ABA League title and ranking ninth in continental scoring with 16.2 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. The veteran of 207 NBA games, who previously earned Most Valuable Player honors in the VTB United League with Zenit and suited up for AS Monaco and Panathinaikos, is set to add to his personal total of 85 appearances in Europe’s premier competition.
Meanwhile, Virtus Bologna continued its busy offseason rebuilding phase. Following the hiring of head coach Alex Mumbru and the re-signings of Daniel Hackett and Momo Diouf, the Italian side inked swingman Davide Casarin to a separate two-year deal. The 23-year-old, 1.97-meter national team product transfers from Vanoli Cremona, where he won the LBA UnipolSai’s Most Improved Player award for the 2025–26 calendar. A former youth standout with Umana Reyer Venice, Casarin is now poised to make his official EuroLeague debut next term.
Finally, Paris initiated its summer acquisitions by securing defensive specialist Terry Tarpey. The 32-year-old French international joins from Monaco, having spent three terms utilizing lockdown perimeter skills in high-stakes games. Standing at 1.96 meters, the former Le Mans stalwart recorded 65 total EuroLeague matchups with La Roca Team and will look to provide crucial stability and elite grit to the rotation for the upcoming 2026-27 campaign.
