The moment no Anadolu Efes fan expected has arrived – Shane Larkin has announced his departure from Anadolu Efes.
In an emotional four-minute video that Larkin posted on social media, he thanked everyone at the club and reminisced about the beautiful moments over the past eight years.
Eight years. Countless memories…

Larkin highlighted that he thought he was coming for a year, but the club gave him so much, and together they achieved great things.
However, the time has come to part ways, and it is mentioned that Fenerbahce is most interested in having Larkin on their team.
After a stint with Baskonia and a move to the Boston Celtics, Larkin returned to the EuroLeague in 2018. He spent eight seasons with the club, winning two EuroLeagues in 2021 and 2022, three league titles, one Turkish Cup, and four Super Cups.
