Real Madrid have reached an agreement to sign Jaime Pradilla from Valencia Basket, according to AS.
The report states that the Spanish giants will pay the €1.5 million release clause included in the 25-year-old forward’s contract, with Pradilla set to sign a five-year deal.
Real Madrid had reportedly been monitoring Pradilla for several months, and the move comes shortly after the club officially announced the departure of Sergio Scariolo.
The Spanish international averaged 6.8 points and 4.1 rebounds in the EuroLeague last season, while posting 10.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game in the Liga Endesa. According to AS, his homegrown status also played an important role in Real Madrid’s decision to pursue the signing.
