LDLC ASVEL has officially announced the return of Yves Pons, with the French forward signing a contract for the 2026-27 season.
Pons, 27, returns to Villeurbanne after his previous stint with the club during the 2022-23 campaign. Known for his elite athleticism, defensive versatility and high-energy style of play, he strengthens Tony Parker’s roster ahead of the new season.
The 1.97-meter forward developed at the University of Tennessee before beginning his professional career with the Memphis Grizzlies organization. He also spent time in the NBA G League before continuing his career in Europe.
A French international, Pons will wear No. 35 as he begins his second spell with ASVEL.
