Fenerbahce signs Trent Forrest on a 2+1 year deal

Departures and recently renewals have been consecutive at Fenerbahce, and now it’s time for the first transfer. Trent Forrest was a free agent after a year with Baskonia, and the Turkish team has signed him for the next 2+1 years.

Fenerbahce announced a 2+1 year agreement with American guard Trent Forrest, who last played for Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Trent Forrest played last season in the EuroLeague with averages of 10.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.3 blocks, and a 14.5 efficiency rating.

From 2016 to 2020, Forrest played college basketball for Florida State, where he was selected to the All-ACC second team for the 2019-20 season. He signed with the Utah Jazz for the 2020-21 season and played for the Atlanta Hawks and College Park SkyHawks in the 2022-23 season.

Returning to Europe in the 2024-25 season, the American point guard signed with Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz and stood out as the Finals MVP in the team that won the 2026 Spanish King’s Cup.
