Fenerbahce Beko officially announced the departure of Tarik Biberovic, bringing an end to the forward’s eight-year spell with the Turkish powerhouse.

As previously reported by Eurohoops, Biberovic has reached an agreement with the Dallas Mavericks on a multi-year contract. Dallas recently acquired his NBA Draft rights from the Memphis Grizzlies, clearing the way for his move to the NBA.

In its farewell statement, Fenerbahce thanked Biberovic for his dedication after arriving at the club as a 17-year-old in 2018.

Tarik became one of the symbols of our team with his dedication, relentless fighting spirit, and the values he represented as a Fenerbahce player. This is not a goodbye… until we meet again.

During his time in Istanbul, Biberovic captured one EuroLeague title, four Turkish League championships, five Turkish Cups, and one Turkish Super Cup, becoming a key member of the club’s most successful era.

He is coming off a career-best EuroLeague season, averaging 11.3 points per game while shooting 41.9% from three-point range, performances that earned him his long-awaited NBA opportunity with Dallas.
