Barcelona has announced Joel Parra’s contract extension until 2030, however things in the team remain more than fluid.
The 26-year-old forward is an asset for the team, having signed a four-year contract back in 2023, while he is also a regular member of the Spanish national team.
However, after losing Mike James who had a deal with them, the Catalans according to many reports, are also on the verge of losing Moses Wright, who had also committed early on with the team.
According to the same reports, Barcelona may even receive a buyout with the player ending up in Milan.
Meanwhile, despite interest about names like Baskonia’s Paolo Galbiati and Giannis Sfairopoulos, Barcelona is also reportedly in talks with Aleksander Sekulic who finished the season with Dubai, and was released shortly after.
Ironically, Sekulic will be replaced in Dubai by former Barcelona coach Xavi Pascual, who left the club by his own will making it clear that his departure was not the result of a specific conflict, but rather a mismatch with Barcelona’s internal dynamics.
