Tyson Etienne has joined Paris, the team announced on Thursday.
The 1.85-meter combo guard arrives directly from the Brooklyn Nets, eager to make his Euroleague debut with the team based in the French capital. His move overseas follows a complete NBA departure where his former franchise chose not to extend a qualifying offer, allowing the skilled playmaker to enter the league market as an unrestricted free agent.
The backcourt newcomer is a veteran of 31 total regular-season contests with the Nets, including 24 appearances last term. During that recent stretch under the strategic guidance of Spanish play-caller Jordi Fernandez, he maintained highly productive metrics, averaging 7.9 points, 1.7 assists, 1.1 rebounds, and 0.5 steals per game.
