Tyson Etienne has joined Paris, the team announced on Thursday.
The 1.85-meter combo guard arrives directly from the Brooklyn Nets, eager to make his Euroleague debut with the team based in the French capital. His move overseas follows a complete NBA departure where his former franchise chose not to extend a qualifying offer, allowing the skilled playmaker to enter the league market as an unrestricted free agent.
The backcourt newcomer is a veteran of 31 total regular-season contests with the Nets, including 24 appearances last term. During that recent stretch under the strategic guidance of Spanish play-caller Jordi Fernandez, he maintained highly productive metrics, averaging 7.9 points, 1.7 assists, 1.1 rebounds, and 0.5 steals per game.

His arrival further strengthens an ambitious roster constructed for the grueling 2026–27 continental and domestic campaigns. Management has been exceptionally active during this ongoing summer transfer window, previously securing fellow seasoned veteran T.J. Warren Jr. to add elite scoring and perimeter experience. The front office continued its aggressive recruitment strategy by finalizing deals for dynamic players Maozinha Pereira and Terry Tarpey.
In addition to these major external acquisitions, roster continuity remains a top priority for the ambitious organization. Versatile forward Leopold Cavaliere penned a crucial contract extension to secure his long-term future with the squad. He returns alongside a formidable core that features Nadir Hifi, Jared Rhoden, and captain Sebastian Herrera.
With this potent blend of proven American talent and a deep domestic foundation, the French outfit appears well-positioned to compete against elite clubs across Europe.
