Derek Willis is the new power forward for Partizan, confirmed the Belgrade club on social media.
Following Kevarrius Hayes, Lamar Stevens, Alessandro Pajola, Nikola Tanaskovic, and most recently Luka Vildoza, Willis became Partizan’s sixth addition for the new season.
Last season, Willis was a member of Paris, just like Stevens. Previously, he spent two years at Anadolu Efes, while he also played in Europe for Venezia, Joventut, Brindisi, Ulm, and Gottingen.
Last season, he played 28 games, seven of which he started, with an average of 5.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.2 assists, with a 37 percent three-point shooting.
Willis plays as a power forward, is characterized by a good three-point shot, and is a good defender, so he will certainly be a significant addition to Joan Penarroya’s team.
