Olympiacos has officially announced the signing of Mbaye Ndiaye, who has agreed to a two-year contract with the Greek powerhouse.

The 27-year-old arrives from ASVEL, where he spent the previous three seasons.

Ndiaye averaged 7.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.4 blocks across 32 EuroLeague appearances last season. He also shot 70% from two-point range, showcasing the athleticism and defensive versatility that allow him to cover both frontcourt positions.

In the French League, the 2.04-meter forward posted 9.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.2 blocks over 26 games.

Olympiacos had been looking to strengthen its power forward rotation following Alec Peters’ departure for Milan. NDiaye offers a different profile from the American sharpshooter and can also provide minutes at center alongside Nikola Milutinov, Tyrique Jones and Donta Hall.

The Senegal international began his professional career with JL Bourg in 2017 before playing for ADA Blois from 2020 to 2023 and subsequently joining ASVEL.
