Olimpia Milano has officially announced the signing of American guard Garrison Mathews, who arrives from the Indiana Pacers.
The 1.96-metre guard has played 329 NBA games for the Washington Wizards, Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks and Pacers, averaging 6.4 points and shooting 38.2 percent from three-point range.
“I’m excited to begin a new chapter in my career,” Mathews said. “I greatly appreciate the opportunity Olimpia Milano and its coaching staff have given me. I’m eager to get to work and help the team in any way I can.”
Before entering the NBA in 2019, Mathews played four seasons at Lipscomb University, becoming the program’s all-time leading scorer and earning Atlantic Sun Conference Player of the Year honours.
