Besiktas opened their preseason schedule with a 92-88 victory over Tofas at the Basketball Development Center.
The game remained close throughout, with Jaylen Nowell leading the winning side in his first appearance for the club. The former NBA guard finished with 20 points and three rebounds.
Eugene Omoruyi added 16 points and nine rebounds, while Anthony Brown and DaQuan Jeffries scored 13 apiece. David DeJulius recorded nine points and nine assists, with Ante Zizic contributing eight points.
Zach Nutall paced Tofas with 17 points and four assists, followed by Treshawn Thurman with 14 points, four rebounds and two steals.
Besiktas will face Dubai Basketball in their next preseason game, while Tofas will take on Fenerbahce Tarfin Istanbul.
