Jimmy Clark proved to be unlucky, but at least he is expected back to action relatively soon.
Per the EuroLeague press release: “Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv has confirmed that guard Jimmy Clark will be out for the next two to three weeks after suffering a thigh injury.
Clark, 25, suffered the injury after slipping during practice on Monday and feeling pain in his groin. An MRI revealed a partial tear in his thigh muscle.
The timing is awkward: Maccabi opens the 2026-27 EuroLeague regular season on September 24 on the road against LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, and even the more optimistic end of the recovery estimate would have Clark cutting it close to be ready for that game.
Heading into his third EuroLeague season and second full campaign, Clark averaged 9.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 2025-26. From Round 26 onward, starting with a 21-point night that saw him hit a game-winning basket against Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade, he posted 15.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game across his final 12 appearances of the season.”
