Lorenzo Brown, still officially a player of Olimpia Milano, posted a cryptic message on his X account.

Free me,” Brown wrote on the platform, which very likely refers to his status at the Milan club, with which he is still under contract.

Lorenzo signed a multi-year deal with Milan at the start of the 2025/26 season, but it seems he is not in the plans of Pepe Poeta. He did not play in the tournament in Crete, nor was he part of the friendly game against Strasbourg, where Poeta rotated as many as 15 players, yet it appears that Olimpia is not letting him leave the club, and the start of the EuroLeague is getting closer – Europe’s strongest competition begins in two weeks.

Brown has had a long career, and his first European club was Crvena Zvezda. After that he played for Fenerbahçe, UNICS, Maccabi and Panathinaikos, before arriving at Olimpia in 2025.

In the backcourt positions, Poeta can count on Devon Hall, Marko Gudurić, Leandro Bolmaro, Stefano Tonut, as well as the latest signings – RJ Cole, Garrison Mathews and Darius Thompson.
